So, when you're dressing up as this revenge-seeking Spaniard make sure you've got a fancy sword for that fancy fighting and a lush head of hair to help you deliver your dramatic lines! WESTLEY AND BUTTERCUP LARGE MOVIE
In fact, in the movie the style of sword fighting in that dramatic cliff top scene with the Man in Black is accurate to the 17th-century style of fighting and both actors did their own moves (all except that ridiculous flip Westley pulled at the end). At least his pasttime gave him the drive to sword fight like a pro. It's just not a great way to become popular. For one, asking everyone about the number of fingers on their right hand takes a serious social toll. The quest for vengeance is a noble one and Inigo has sacrificed much in pursuit of it.

It had a gripping love story between farm boy, Westley, and his true love, Buttercup. That film had everything! It had a handsome leading man who was daring and skilled with a sword. Few movies have touched our heart like The Princess Bride.
